Pours bright golden with a thin wispy off-white head. Notes of tropical fruit, cantaloupe, champagne, white grape, peppery. Medium to full bodied with lush carbonation and lightly alcoholic.

hawthorne00 (2433) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - SEP 1, 2014
Renowned tripel imbiber hawthorne00 staggered from the vaulted archway of the Grand Back Fridge. He lunged for the nearest receptacle he could see, a Westmalle chalice. Grabbing the gilded glass, the forty-six-year-old man heaved the masterpiece toward himself and tearing the cap from the pulchritudinous-blonde-tressed-emblazoned-labelled libation hawthorne00 inverted it as it collapsed backward in a heap beneath its canvas-like head.

About 10C. Hazy gold with a head that lasts once it fades to a coat. Aroma of wheaty dough, oranges, cloves, pepper. Sweet - grainy and yeasty with apricots and oranges. Alcohol is well-hidden, but it’s a bit dull until the likeable finish which is dryish, spicy and moderately bitter.

A voice spoke, chillingly close. "Do not neglect the wisdom of the lowest rating." Only eight pages away the mountainous silhouette of a rating stares through the iron bars. It was broad and tall, with ghost-pale skin and thinning white hair. Its irises were pink with dark red pupils. Why it had these features is no more puzzling than how they were discernible in silhouette. The renowned Google translate says it’s written in Galician. And rather than tedious hints about the supposed offspring of Christ, it says in translation inter alia "corresponds with ni ni flavor." Ah. Wrong grail yarn, Patsy.

Couleur jaune d’or.

Light golden appearance, 2 finger head in a De Struise tulip glass. Smells of straw & lemon zest. Light on the palate, the taste is multigrain bread, lemon zest, fairly boozy. High carbonation gives a peppery touch then a dry finish. Not a bad tripel/heavy blond but too unbalanced and boozy to be great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Above average tripel, with some nice spices and fruits and a thingling mouthfeel.

Countbeer (4425) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - JUL 17, 2013
Bottle: Served in a Ikea (?) taster: First it’s pretty big, but right away it’s a more medium sized white foamy head that changes into a sticky fluffy small head/lacing on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. Aromas of grains, malts, oat, fruit, citrus, peach, light corn. Flavours of fruit, apricot, peach, cream, spicy, hoppy and herbal tones, bitters, yeast, hints of grains, porridge and again spicy (growing). Aftertaste is bitter, spicy, malty an grainy, light fruity and warm spicy. Medium carbo, mouthfeel is between watery and creamy, medium to full body and a creamy texture. The taste is pretty nice, but if they could hide the alcohol burn this would have been an easy beer at 9%

This This strong Belgian Blonde has a rich citrus aroma that is minor compared to the bitter spice filled flavor. With a dark unfiltered look but slight head, it has the appearance of not being as refreshing as it is. But its distinct flavor and short palate leave you coming back for more. Sip after sip.
