May 25, 2006 A hazy dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of fruit and caramel. The flavor is also sweet malty and with notes of caramel as the main things I pick up. The mouthfeel is very smooth, and it has a nice powerful body.

Oct 20, 2008 Bottled. Dark mahogany colour, rich beige creamy head. Tart and vinous, lightly herbal. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Sweet and sout with syrup dries out by woody vinuos notes and dust.

May 28, 2007 33 cL bottle. Pours unfiltered brown with a semi crisp and creamy head, quickly disappearing leaving a fatty lacing. Aroma is spicy and whiskey like alcoholic with good portion of malt. Flavour is a harsh blend between cane sugar and malt in a very dark mix. Very dry and bitter finis with distinct spicy notes. Very strong in all its elements and rather unbalanced.

Dec 20, 2006 Bottle @ Kerstbierfestival 2006 in Essen, BE. Brown color with a off-white head. Aroma off toasted malt, hoppy, brown sugar. Very sweet flavor with mederate bitternes and a avage finish.

Jul 9, 2006 Bottled. Dark amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is spicy, malty and a bit earthy. Flavour is quite the same, but even more spicy. Too spiced for my taste, and in my opinion quite a bore.
