Bouteille de 330 ml obtenue via Importations Privées Bièropholie. Arôme: Légère odeur d’épices et de céréales. Apparence: La couleur est blonde voilée (présence de dépôt) avec une forte densité de bulle. Présence d’un large col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût d’agrumes avec une pointe d’épices et de fruité. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture minérale. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Odd spicy, perhaps cinnamon. Golden coloured and unclear. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Heavy spicy aroma, cinnamon and laqurice. Sweet flavor, more soft laqurice and some sharp spice. Creamy, astringent texture.

Pours a bright golden yellow color. Aromas of malts, yeast, and a little fruit. Has a light fruit taste, with some yeasty notes, a touch of orange, and a good hop flavor.

My Bottom Line :
Prominent ginger and lemongrass join this tropical Tripel’s spicy hops in building quite the citrusy flavor profile.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A slice of foam tops the cloudy blond with plenty of yeast particles (even though the bottle’s been standing up right for weeks).
-A touch of alcohol heat reminds you that this is not a beach brew.
-Underlying banana esters add some depth.
-Malt flavors are present but dominated by the citrusy spiciness.
-A thriving leafy hop bitterness thankfully balances out the spices in the finish.

330ml bottle, cloudy yellow gold hue, with a white head, nice spicy peppery cardamom, lemongrass, bready dough, citrusy nose with a mild zesty lemony floral hop note, with some subtle honeyed pale, toasted malt accent in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, nice zesty, cardamom, spritzy lemongrass, ginger, lemon peel chareacter with a flowery citrusy, lime, grapefruit hop flavour, and a light coriander, doughy, pale, toasted malt backbone, leading towards a zesty, lemon, spicy cardamom, lemograss, dry citrus hop bittering finish.

33cl bottle, tulip glass. Pours a hazy orange with a white head. Smells of oranges and spice. Lively, and tickles the tongue. Leaves a slightly "raw" feeling on the mouth -- medicinal. Tastes boozy, malty and spicy. Overall it’s an acceptable Tripel, but not outstanding.
