Zythos Beer Festival, Sint-Niklaas, Belgium 2005. Golden colour with a white head. Hoppy citrus aroma and a sweet malty and hoppy citrus light alcoholic taste. Medium body and a sweet light alcoholic finish.

33 cl bottle. Served in St. Bernardus goblet. Hazy gold w/ big, creamy, stable head that sticks around until the end, and leaves good lacing. Most impressive. The aroma is well-hopped, citrusy fresh, and well-balanced. The flavor is perfectly balanced between citrus, hops, slight sweetness, solid malt backbone, and long, spicy, warming finish. The alcohol remains hidden. Mouthfeel is impressively full and soft. Eminently drinkable. A superb tripel; one of the very best I´ve tasted.

(Bottled) Opaque golden color with a smallish head. Hoppy, slightly sour, tasty and fruity aroma. Sweetish, toffeeish, fruity and berryish flavor. Medium-bodied, neutral, low-carbonated palate. A quite pleasant and tasty brew.

Gold-greenish amber; small but good head, just off-white. English hops -and the best of them: spicey, and a little citrus aroma-hops. Good! sweetish with a low bitterness but a lot of hop FLAVOUR, even a bit cheesy. Very carbonated, nearly fizzy, slight alcohol burning. This is a great new tripel, tasted in good company - Mark Romero, David Anderson and Mat Wilson - everybody happy with this beer!

Firstly, I thought this beer rocked. Poured orange with a medium white head. Big citrus hop aroma. Big hop flavor reminiscent of the west coast. Bitter finish. Excellent.

Bottled. Cloudy orange., very lively. A bold, sweet tripel with big straight forward maltiness. Salty and flavourful, rich but not complex.
