Fruity sweet and boozy aroma. Opaque browned apple colour with generous, dense, off white head that laces. Fruity, strong, boozy flavour with some light spiciness. Medium-light body with airy, collapsing texture in the mouth. Moderately warming. Bottle sampled at GBBF 2005.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 KnutAlbert (4384) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 2, 2007
Draft at Beer Circus, Brussels.
Looks very blonde, but this one is certainly for sipping, the opposite end of the spectrum from a session beer. Flowers and hers, more like some kind of cordial spiked with vodka? Wut there is a wheat beer kind of softness at the bottom. Interesting, but not quite there!
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Hansen (4228) - Assentoft, DENMARK - DEC 16, 2011
Odd spicy, perhaps cinnamon. Golden coloured and unclear. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Heavy spicy aroma, cinnamon and laqurice. Sweet flavor, more soft laqurice and some sharp spice. Creamy, astringent texture.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 downender (4186) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2008
330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy gold colour with a small white ehad. Sweetish aroma with plenty of coriander and ginger. Flavour had the same oriental spicing, which was over the top and made me think of food. Finish was pleasantly dry. Ok.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 thedm (4116) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 12, 2009
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy with floating yeast chunks softly carbonated dark yellow colored body and an excellent lacing. The weak aroma was floral and malty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The crisp flavor contained notes of malt sweet mild floral hops and mild candy. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Grovlam (4106) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 13, 2008
Bottle. Average foamy white head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Somewhat cloudy sparkling with a golden color. Lots of particles in flow at the very end. Aroma of coriander, clove, spice, fruit, yeast, citrus. Over the palate came mild dusty feel, light grainy and caramel. Medium to almost full bodied with an average carbonation and quit filling texture for a Tripel, mild alcoholic. Moderated sweet fruity flavor with mild acidic and maybe a hint of bitterness. Sweet and smooth spicy finish. Quit nice Tripel I enjoyed.
