from tap@Brugsch Beertje, Brugge. Golden colour, small white head. Fruity and spicy smell. Taste: medium bitter, fruity, spicy, peaches, coriander. No bad tripel but also nothing special, nothing I never drunk before.

750ml. Happy Belgian Tripel. Purity and Innocence of Spirit Shall Reveal the Glory of the Grail. Golden yellow, white fizzy head. Aroma of lemons and tart. Flavor is sweet, yeasty, and bready. Light bodied. Not bad, not the best.

For the appearance, aroma, flavor and palate I believe that this supposed tripel is the “De Graal Gember” with wrong labelling, for this I rated this beer with the score of the “De Graal Gember” but with a discount for the error. Apparently, for the description of other rateberians, it mistake of “De Graal” is some common.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2011 (33 cl) Le liquide est blond et sa robe est passablement traversée par des sédiments. Aucune construction mousseuse. Aucune effervescence. Le nez est franchement épicé avec de la coriandre et des racines de gingembre. Quelques notes sucrées et surettes se frottent à un alcool tout de même parfumé. Les saveurs sont trop épicées. La coriandre et le gingembre collent sur les papilles. L’alcool démontre une certaine force: il possède indéniablement un goût amer. La bouche est moche avec un corps qui souffre. Les bulles sont mortes et enterrées depuis belle lurette. La finale est épicée et amère par les notes d’alcool. Ouf...........
