3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Benzai (4359) - Oirschot, - JUL 14, 2011Hazy orange golden color, not very nice. It has 9%ABV but you never taste that. For such an ABV the beer has a low body and a very average taste. Expected something better.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 erickok (2295) - Tours, FRANCE - NOV 16, 2012
Hazy orange and decent off white head. Looks nice. Fermented fruit, residual sugar and rough sweet malts. Taste is the same, a bit amateurish with lots of sweetness and fermented tastes. Is this supposed to be so funky? (Bottle at De Drie Dorstige Herten)

33cl, at 9%Vol, exclusive Dutch brewery, from Gents Bierfestival 2012, complex brew, spicy/sweet and slightly alcoholic/fruity, not balanced, cloudy, small head, nice brew
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JorisPPattyn (7311) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - AUG 18, 2012
No head to speak of, veiled golden beer. ( Badly poured!). Dry, spicy & yeasty nose, dry rootspices. Very spicy flavour, again rootspices (galanga,...); seems well-attenuated, if a tad lifeless. Not very carbonated, despite the apparent attenuation. Medium bodied. Better than the sum of its parts. I miss some life, here;
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 kappldav123 (3760) - Markkleeberg, GERMANY - AUG 14, 2012
Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts strong, fine malty and spicy. Notes of sweet fruits, peaches. Modest sourish. Well balanced finish, still fine fruity, hints of caramel. Quite drinkable. Good beer.

Clear blond beer, small yellowish head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet malts, honey, bit of citrus, cheesy, wheat, some fruit (peaches). MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: bitter start, fruity, grapefruit, sweet malts, candi sugar, bit herbal, earthy. Aftertaste: sweet, honey, slightly bitter ending.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 bier_proever (2) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 6, 2011 does not count
I like pure beers, no additions.
But sometimes I like to have something else and that’s where De Gulzige Gans comes in; There’s lots of additions, unsure quality (sometimes you see some greyish yeast or other things floating by) and lots of character and taste.
Love this beer. Love the nano-brew 200ltr. brewing.
