Tap @ Winterbierfestival Gouda: Clear amber with massive head. Cinnamon candy. Lots of it. Some medium roasted malts too. Taste is sweet, with bitter touch and minimal acidic at the end. Very dry, medium carbonation. Pretty one-dimensional.

Borresteijn (4639) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JAN 19, 2014
On tap at PWBF ’14. Clear golden amber colour, off white head. Aroma of spice, mainly cinnamon, smells like ontbijtkoek. Flavour is medium-sweet, malty, watery, cinnamon, clove, earth, light-bitter finish. Light-bodied, watery. Listed at 7.0% ABV. It’s certainly not 8.5%.

Douberd (2221) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - NOV 23, 2013
Tap at the brewpub, big glass. Bright orange to red in colour, with a thin off-white head on top. Good retention. Light lacing left on the glass. Not much of an aroma, little bit of spices and caramel. Taste has lots of spices in it, mostly cinnamon, that lingers around for long time. Aftertaste also cinammon. Medium thin body, good carbonation. Overall very good, soft, really liked the cinammon taste.

Testenswert! Test vom 5.12.2010, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 12,12,11,11,-,12 - 11,68

Hazy dark amber colour, beige head. Spicy aroma, cinnamon, cardamom, spekkoek, some citrus. Sweetish malt flavour, spicy, orange peel, somewhat bittersweet. Some caramel. Full body. Finish sweet spicy with some bitter touches. Nice and warming winter beer.
(Draught @ the brewpub)
