Clear orange coloured, small head. Some undefined spices in aroma. Quite strong malty flavour, sweet, one-dimensional. Hoppy finish.

Gut haltende Schaumkrone, farblich ist es dunkel-gelb und ganz leicht trüb. Geschmacklich ist es süßlich etwas citrus-fruchtig,ganz leicht säuerlich schön intensiv! Dazu kommt noch eine süße blumigkeit und ein leicht Karameliger Nebengeschmack. Fazit: Leckeres und interessantes Bier! Test vom 5.12.2010, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 13,11,12,12,-,13 - 12,36

Clear amber brown colour, off-white head. Malty aroma, caramel, very light hops. Sweet malty flavour, slight toffee. Finish malty. Not bad.

Tasting glass at the brewery. Thin white head. Clear golden pour. Some bitterness in the aftertaste.

On tap at the brewery restaurant, Nijmegen. Pours amber, cloudy with a large off-white head. Sweet malt, some fruit notes. Medium bodied. Sweet lasting caramel taste. The start to a memorable evening at the brewery

On tap @ De Hemel. Amber colored brew, not much head. Aroma’s of caramel and sweet fruit, a bit grassy. Malty sweet flavor. Quite full bodied for a 5 percenter. Quite a bit of caramel/malt in the finish with a hint of bitterness. Pleasant brew.

Tap @ Brouwerij de Hemel. Amber colored brew. Malty aroma. Flavor has malts, fruits, caramel, some bitterness.

On tap @ the brewery. Aroma has some caramel and hops. Clear, yellow-orange coloured beer with a medium sized head. The taste is a sweet, little bitter, has malts, some citrus. Medium bodied. Okay.

Draught @ Stadsbrouwerij De Hemel, Nijmegen, Netherlands. Clear medium amber orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, toffee. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Tap @ De Hemel. A beautiful clear orange with a medium creamy white head that has loads of lacing. Aroma is lots of fruits and herbs. Berries, youghurt, some cookies and a light spicyness. Good low carbonation. Flavour begins off ever so slightly metallic before turning surprisingly spicy and peppery bitter on top of a good caramel base.

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2008 Tap@DeHemel. Herbal aroma. Light amber color, off-white head, good lace. Light sweet, bitter, herbal, medium body. Well brewed but straightforward, no complexity at all.
