Draught. 7,5%. Nice spicy aroma, cumin? Clear copper colour, small white head. Flavour is quite dry and peppery with a spicy coriander/cumin aftertaste. Very nice tripel.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Hazy gold beer, tiny white head. Light dry palate. Delightfully fruity tripel! Sweet malt with tangerine, pear, apple and melon! Tiny hit of spice. Crispish dry finish. Carbonated bite as well. Great stuff - best of the numerous Dutch Tripels!

Reddish golden beer with a nice cream head. Beautiful aroma of hops, floral, some citrus and spice. Flavour is sweet, hops, orange, spice and malts. Dry finish, spices with a nice hop touch. Nicely balanced. (Draught @ De Hemel)

On tap at Arendsnest. Pours hazy with a nice, lacing head. Nice fruity, grassy and spicy aroma. Complex spicy flavours blending with fruit. Semi-dry. A Dutch tripel that impresses.

Tap @ De Hemel. Pours a deep amber with a small creamy white head. Weak malty sweet aroma based on caramel with some spices and herbs mixed in for good measure. Nice, round mouthfeel. Flavour is quite the explosion compared to the mild aroma. Lightly vinious, some fresh fruits like berries, pineapples and apples appear. Oranges gives it a sour finish along with a little spicyness.

On tap at ‘t Arendsnest. Very powerful beer, really enjoyed it. Peppery and herb flavors with solid aftertaste.

On tap at the brewery restaurant, Nijmegen. Cloudy deep amber with medium off white head. Somewhat sweet, malts. Medium bodied. Some fruit notes in flavour. From memory, no notes. A very pleasing beer. A memorable evening

On tap at the brewpub. Herbal and orange aroma. Dark yellow/golden color, white head, good lace. Light sweet, herbal, rather bitter for a triple, citric, tangerine in the finish. Dry finish as well. Very nice.

Draught.GBBF2003. Golden colour, moderate head and condition. Sweet spicy wheat aromas, which carry through into the mouth. Finish has a faint mouldy edge that seems to work well with the spices.

On tap @ NBF. The aroma has citrus, yeast, spice. Hazy, orange coloured with an off-white, thin head. The taste is a little sweet, has good bitterness, oranges, dusty yeast and spices. Nice.
