Poured a bright amber with a tight white head. Aroma of soft caramel malt and dark fruit. Medium, creamy body, flavour of spiced orange and dark fruit and toffee-ish malt.

Golden bodied with low carbonation and off white small head. Medium sweet aroma from the caramel and peach like malts. Some added cinnamon and cardamon spices. White Raisins as well. Taste starts spicy sweet, like cookies or spiced pie. Later the bitterness is more pronounced. It doesn’t have many dimensions and generally doesn’t hit the right spot for me. Malty and hopless can be okay, but this one doesn’t convince. (50cl bottle from my secret Sinterklaas, thanks!)

Graan, geroosterd, deeg.
Goed gemaakt blond, gebalanceerd, mist een beetje eigen karakter. Bij eerste slok een lichte nasmaak van plastic.

Clear golden yellow with decent but bubly white foam head. Aroma is weak, more like a pilsener. Taste is barley and OK bitter. Short bitter aftertaste with some caramel present. (Velp 201208)

Bright copper colour. Herbal, slightly medicinal aroma and some vegetable stock. Flavour also has strong herbal taste and overall is rather sweet. Some bitter orange and ginger come through too.

Bottle@home. Nice head, shrinking but lasting. Color Golden. Aroma anise. Taste anise, little sour. Palate dry, long lasting. Overall just for a try.

50cl fliptop bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Lightly hazy orange golden color, medium to full sized off-white head that diminishes quickly. Smell malts, herbs and spices and a little sweet. Taste malts, lightly sweet, again some herbs or spices. Low carbo, low to medium body.

Bottle thx to benzai. Light amber to golden colour with a decent, soft creamy white head. Smells barnyard, some orangepeel, malts, some ’cheap asian pilsener’ notes. Tastes malty, bit fruity but not very fresh. Not bad, not great. Good carbo, medium body.
