RBESG 09 Sheffield Grand Tasting @ Harlequin.. copper colored witha lasting beige head.. Very well balnce between teh sweet malts and fruity hops.Not top, but for sure an enjoyable brew.

Thin white head. Blond/amber pour. Bitterness in the aftertaste. A good brew which benefits from aging.

{thoughts} Minus off-putting fusels a pleasant enough fusion of barley wine and Belgian strong ale, though without uniqueness.
{elements} Clear, copper hue; sparkling carbonation; tight, white cream. Aroma of caramel and raisins with herbal teases and a dose of oranges; harsher fusel alcohols appear with warmth. Heavy sweetness is tempered well by moderate acidity and bitterness; flavors of caramel, peaches and pineapples. Medium-full body, creamy texture, lively carbonation. 100 cl bottle @ GP Tuulensuu.

Bottled@Tuulensuu, Tampere. Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, alcohol, some wood and mild notes of earth and herbs. Flavour is sweet fruits, alcohol, caramel and some wood and resin notes.

Sweetish, but still kind of fresh aroma has some solvent in it. Smooth and dry palate. Unfortunately the sweetish flavour has some bitterish solvent too. Rather thin stuff for a 10% BW, also it is a bit bitter in a bad way.

1000 ml bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, Tampere.
Pours a slightly unclear copper colour with a small white head on the edges. Aroma of caramel malts, some sweet fruits such as banana. Flavour of sweet caramel malts, toffee, hops and sweet fruits. Medium bodied with a warming mouthfeel and a smooth, bitter, strong fruity finish. Nice one.

1L bottle-thanks to jtclockwork for sharing–pours an offwhite head and fizzy-hazy orange/brown color. Aroma is caramel-medium malt, fruit. Taste is caramel-medium malt, fruit-apple, spice hops. Good/plenty of carbonation. Syrupy/slick mouth feel.

Bottle shared with jcwattsrugger. Pours cola brown. Off white head. Nose of toffee, apple and caramel. Taste of same with some alcohol. Taste also has dates and dark fruits.
