Hoevebrouwers Toria Sampled on 5/7/2010. This Belgian ale pours a hazy orange gold color from a 33cl bottle. Medium to large sized white rocky foamy head, with excellent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is fruity, citrusy, and slightly spicy. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, touch of citrus. Nice carbonation. A touch of tartness sneaks in there every once in a while. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with a touch of tartness.

Golden blond coloured beer with some average carbonation and a short white head. Light herby malty hinted aroma with a full palate. FInish is bitter, light malty touched. Normal Belgian ale but nod bad.

11.2 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy yellow gold that unfortunately looks exactly like urine with a thin-moderate white head that lasted through three-quarters of the glass and left partial lace. The aroma is somewhat sour with some yeast in the nose as well. The flavor is mild malt with some sourness, lightly spiced yeast, and grassy hops. Light-medium bodied. At $4.50/bottle, not something I’d look to revisit.

On tap at Zythos Beer Festival 6th March 2010 Pours hazy light gold with a white head. There is a big lemon thrust to this that eventually softens and then I get some soft summer fruits, backed up by a pushy sweetness, refreshing and pleasant beer. A6 A3 F7 P3 Ov13 3.2

Bottle shared by nuplastikk at the 2010 Max’s Belgian fest: Pours a transparent bright pale golden with a pillowy froth of white head. Aroma of soft grassy hops and pale malts with some biscuity yeast and floral character. Starts with average fullness and some light pale malty sweetness with a touch of biscuity malts and earthy floral hop bitterness. Pretty smooth and drinkable.

11.2 ounce bottle in Duvel glass. Very pale hazy yellow with flat white head and nice lace. Mild herbal aromatic citrus bready aroma with a hint of clove and tartness. Mild vanilla peach sweet fruitiness with very dry somewhat bitter a little bit soapy peppery finish. Pretty fresh, which IMHO is crucial for this style. Nice, refreshing, pleasant. A very good beer in a subtle style.
