@ Zythos 2013. A little hazy yellow colored beer, with a thick foamy white head. The aroma of sweet fruits like orange and citrus, malts and a little hop. The taste of sweet fruits, dry hops and a little spices. The aftertaste is some sweet, bitter with notes of spices.

Draft sample @ ZBF’13 shared with the RB Belgian crew.

Draught Small white head over pale golden beer. Raw hops, grassy, herbal, lunaria. Malts dominate the taste with maltsyrup, cornsyrup and earthy notes. Despite the syrupy impression, the sweetness is held in check. Medium bodied, not very carbonated, light MF. Well - OK. Not very outspoken wheatcharacter.

33 cl. Bottle sampled @ ZBF 2013. Experiment 5 as in #5? What happened to #1-#4 were they undrinkable or… why start with 5? Is it because that is more experimental? I am confused. Only lightly hazy pale golden, creamy white head. Light hops in the nose, grass, spices, wheat, light hint of sourness,… Taste is okay wheat, light spices, light white bread, white sugar, light grassy hops, grains and dull citrus. Lightly lower bodied. Not much experimental stuff going on.

18/III/13 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: 14/I/15 (2013-249)

Little cloudy pale orange beer, big creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: bit fruity, grassy hops, bit chemical, paint, dusty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity and citric start, orange peel, grains, grassy hops. Aftertaste: very bitter hops, grassy, some citrus, almonds. Pretty good for a very light session beer.

Had a 33cl bottle at home. The beer looks very much like a pils beer and tastes a bit like it as well. Nice fresh aroma, taste is rather light and a bit bitter. The bitterness gets a bit stronger after a while.

On tap at Zythos, Brabanthal, Leuven, Belgium Saturday 28th April 2012 Good clarity, gold in colour with a white head. Refreshing tasty beer and as I understand the little brother to the 800. Soft in mouth with nice yeast flavour, good beer. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
