3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Benzai (2711) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - JUL 4, 2011
Clear orange light amber color, little too light for an amber beer, creamy head. Not much smell. Overall pretty standard.

Pours deep amber with golden highlights and a finger of downy white head. A perfumed, floral nose gives little hint to the very malty beer beneath. A subtle rosemary character is given out along with a little banana skin. In the mouth, however, the hops step forward to give the beer an immediate bitterness, heading strangely into ESB territory. Finishes with a lasting marmalade malt and hop bitterness. It’s a bit odd really.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ha1ag (610) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - AUG 8, 2009
Clear amer color, with fluffy off-white head, leaves proper lacing. Nose is quite nothing a bit of roasted malt. Aroma is malty and flavour turns what watery, emphasized by the low carbonation, remaining hops bitterness. Not bad
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 floydian1 (543) - FNQ, AUSTRALIA - JUL 22, 2009
On tap at the Belgian Beer Cafe in The Hague, Netherlands. A clear amber beer with a yellow-white head providing decent lacing. Nose of sugary roasted malts and and fruity hops. The taste is similar to the nose with a malt sweetness up front finishing with a gentle grassy hop bitterness. Nicely balanced. Finishes clean and neutral. Very drinkable and probably better than the bottled version.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Bov (7364) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUN 5, 2006
<!-- i -->cask<!-- /i --> - clear and bright amber colour; nice beige creamy head; some maltiness and caramel up in front, but all being very shy; beautiful lace; notes of hazelnut and flowers developpe as the beer gets warmer; decent malt body, some sweetness soon balanced by a moderately dry bitterness; creamy mouthfeel; the finish is mainly caramel and relatively brief - lot of subtility
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Nekronos (2655) - Xalapa, MEXICO - APR 17, 2006
VEry sweet, with the power of the Belgian beers, I was very delighted with this beer being found in England. It was more dark than in the picture for me.
