Beer_2000 (1121), Kristiansand, Norway Mar 2, 2008 330 ml bottle. Orange body with a white head. Aroma is fruity, spicy and yeast. Flavor is refreshing, spicy a bit acidulous and bitter. Like somewhere between golden Belgium ale and wit. It’s rather nice. oberabcbbsok (642), Hoboken, Belgium Apr 28, 2007 To bad that this beer is no longer brewed. I liked it very much. Not tostrong and rather smooth. Tasted it on draft as wel from bottle
thebeertourist (1681), Oslo, Norway Sep 28, 2006 On draught at The Dove Free House, Hackney. Pale golden with a modest eggwhite-like head. Very neutral malts aroma. Mildly hopped, some toffeeish caramel and that characteristic fruity De Koninck yastiness. Well-carbonated. Not quite the same as its copper-coloured brother. Papsoe (9663), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 16, 2005 (Bottle 75 cl) Pale golden, very weak white head. A spring-like, flowery nose, buth otherwise rather thin. A bit of malt, a bit of...well nothing actually. My parents-in-law liked it, which is definitely not a good sign. 310599 bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA Mar 29, 2005 had this last summer in antwerp, belgium...the beer these other raters had seems a bit more intrigueing. nonetheless mine stunk...literally. sour apple smell almost foul. golden haze color and flacid after taste and i probably could of ordered a westy from the same place??
