Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 11, 2004 An orange beer with a small disappearing beige head. The aroma is spicy with coriander being most dominant. The flavor is sweet caramel with some spicy notes. An average beer. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 13, 2007 Draught at Belgobaren, Stockholm. Hazy golden, small head. Dry yet fruity. Light bodied with notes of mango and marzipan. Feels refreshingly light and without edges. Well made. Papsoe (10510), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 1, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful, orangey golden colour with a small, creamy head. Some malt and a small, dry bitterness. Actually has a strong alcohol presence in spite of the rather suddued alcohol for a Belgian. Reminds me more of a strong lager. Have a suspicion that this is actually just a renamed "Antoon". I’m sad to say this, but De Koninck hasn’t really made a decent beer since Cuvee d’Antwerpen in 1993. 200505 yespr (6943), Copenhagen O, Denmark Feb 24, 2008 25 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a dense white head. Light spiced and wheaty aroma, into a light marzipan note. Flavour is mildly sweetend with a light wheaty fruity note. Light spice flavour too. Goes into a more mellow yeasty note before the finish.
