Mar 10, 2008 330 cl. bottle on 3/10/08. Lots of floaties in an otherwise clear amber pour. Very spare, vanishing, bubbly head without any appreciable lace. Sweet caramel, brown sugar,yeast, and light fruit aromas. Medium body, very light carbonation to the point of almost being still, some stickiness. Malty sweetness dominates the flavor and extends well into the finish, when some soft spicy bitterness makes a long awaited appearance.

Mar 2, 2008 330 ml bottle. Hazy amber body with rather small off-white head. Aroma is caramel malt, fruity and a hint of this typical De Konic spiciness. Flavor is malty, a bit sweet, fruity and surprisingly light, almost no alcohol.

Jan 2, 2008 Bottle as "Cuvée Antwerpen 93". Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy / fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, vintage, sherry notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (141207)

Dec 30, 2007 Bottle BB 12/04. Pours amber/mahogany with a thin crust of white bubbles. Smells of sugar, iced tea, earth, citrus. Tastes of resudual sugar, some pepper, hints of spice. Past its prime but still enjoyable.

dark gold with lots of floating yeast chunks, yeasty sweet malt aroma with a light fruity tartness, thick body, malt flavor with lots of fruity esters, bready yeasty quality, sweetness is forefront but not overbearing, little to no bitterness
