Tap@LocusDelft. Malty, apple and toffee aroma. Reddish brown color, beige head, fair lace. Sweet, light bitter, toffee, nutty, bit rusty, lightly spiced, sticky mouthfeel. Reminded me of Pauwel Kwak a lot.

Bright copper colour. Aroma and flavour have hint of roasted almond. Moderate level of malt. Rich, silky texture. A little dried fruit comes through at the end.

Tap Café Morshuis Albergen. Copper color. Peach and flowery hops in the malty sweet flavor. Well balanced brew.

Good off-white head, over dark copper beer, clear. Typical De Koninck yeast nose, noble hops, caramel, lightly roasted. Sweet-spicy, with playful if not very distinctive hops, surrounding the malts; bit nutty. Slick, even sticky MF, lots of restsugars. Some vanilla retronasal, but also getting a bit empty. Sweet – but I wonder with some lagering? The hopping seems to be OK, the ABV would sustain it, so…

Tap at Kerstbierfestival Essen: Brewed especially for its 175 years celebration. Amber looking ale with hints of caramel and more tastier dan the regular but this one higher in alcohol 8%.
