3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Review transfer from personal notes.
Beautiful light amber color, transparent. Rocky head retains exceptionally well.
Aroma is very... aromatic, from a good distance away from the glass as well. But alas, is this Irish Spring soap or is it a beer? Seriously, the lime flavoring in this beer gives it a bready/soapy lime aroma that makes you think you’re in the shower! Yikes!
Taste is the most disappointing part of this beer. Smell, appearance and drinkability are great. This is a weak, lime flavored amber ale with a slight resemblance to american wheats (wheat as an ingredient, but virtually no characteristics of a wheat beer that you would find from Germany).
Finish isn’t terribly long. But it’s a refreshing beer. Almost light enough to qualify for lawnmower status.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
1993 Cuvee Antwerpen. Dark amber with a small off-white head. Very dusty an mouldy, and vineous. To old to rate properly, I just wanted to have it in my records. Numbers don’t reflect my experience but are simply the average score at this time. I’ll be looking for a fresher one for a re-rate.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled on draught at the Brasserie V in Madtown: Pours a murky brown colour with a HUGE tan head. Aroma is sort of sour, yeasty with bready malts and cinnamon on the nose. Taste is sort of tart but rich, flavors all around, nuts, pear and citrus notes.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
(Draught@In De Wildeman) Clear amber with a small, lasting and lacy head. Very mild aroma with some caramel and vegetably hints. Sweetish and grainy, caramely flavor with some alcoholic feel, and low bitterness. Medium body with low carbonation. Slightly plasticky, very boring, and a bit alcoholic brew.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
@ bar Becolth Boxtel Netherlands. A dark amber colored beer, with a nice beige head. The aroma has sweet caramel, with fruity, citrus tones. The taste is bittersweet, warm and a characteristic the Konick taste. A lite bitter aftertaste.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330 cl. bottle on 3/10/08. Lots of floaties in an otherwise clear amber pour. Very spare, vanishing, bubbly head without any appreciable lace. Sweet caramel, brown sugar, yeast, and light fruit aromas. Medium body, very light carbonation to the point of almost being still, some stickiness. Malty sweetness dominates the flavor and extends well into the finish, when some soft spicy bitterness makes a long awaited appearance.
