Golden orange body with a medium sized, frothy white head. Oaky, vinous aroma with hints of cherry and pear. Light malt sweetness, some apple and pear. Finish becomes more dry with some notes of oak and honey. Thanks to secret santa for this bottle.

Peach color with big chunks floating in it. No head. Toasted caramel, fruit and yeast aroma. Slightly tart with a pleasant sweet bread flavor and some hints of apricot. Low bitterness. Quite a delicate nectar for the strength.

Tap in SF. Red copper ale with alight smell of candy sugar. Pleasant sweet taste not much spices, rather light bodied, leaving me on my appetite. (June 2004).

Bottle. Weird sour nose. Brown nody with lots of floaties. Taste is strong of candi sugar, tart/sourness balanced with an over sweetness, pear, caramel, vinous notes, and fruit. This is actually very good. It has a high degree of sweetness with an excellent hop balance. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Poured a small off-white head with fair lacing, carbonated, cloudy, and an orange brown hue. Malty and fruity aroma. Sweet, malty, caramel, and vinuous flavor. Smooth palate. Medium bodied BSA.

Wow, a retired beer huh? Well, I can still get it from the Beer Depot in Ann Arbor, MI. This bottled brew marked best before 9/17/2004 poured a small sized head of frothy fine to medium sized mostly lasting off-white colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent and golden in color. Its aroma contained notes of malts and sweaty socks. Its mouth feel is initially tingly mildly vinous and a smooth aftertaste. Its flavor contained mild malty caramel citrusy notes.

hazy amber color with a beige head. The taste is sweet fruit with a small note of alcohol. Light hops on the palate.

Draft at the Mesquito Grill in Doylestown, Pa. Good beer. Nice malt flavor to it that hid the alcohol pretty well.
