It’s a decent scoring beer. The bottle is very stylish though. The beer is okay on all fronts.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 JCB (3801) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAY 8, 2011
750ml from State Line. Flattish, copper-gold pour. Initial rush of bubbles is gone quickly. Slight metallic notes in the nose, confirmed in the foamy first sips. Sweet malts, some hay, and dry bread come through a bit more in the taste. Body is fairly watery, comes together in a sticky fashion in the finish. Some ripe sweet fruits emerge as part of the mix later on. Disjointed, thin, a bit of a mess.

750 with a clamped cork from Oak Tree. Pours hazy gold with a 3 finger foamy off-white head. Aromas of light malt, honey?, and light stone fruits and citrus, wih something spicey/grassy. Med body. Flavor is lightly woody, with pale fruits and some floral hop. Just a touch of herb/grass. Definitely on the dry side, nicely floral, a little kandi on the sidelines, and some pleasant, likely noble type, hop. Finishes bitterish, but pretty well balanced with kandi/honey coming back. Mouthsmacking.

An alright golden beer. I like the Ruby Red one better. I probably won’t buy it again.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 TBone (9999) - Pori, FINLAND - JAN 29, 2011
Bottled (750ml, bottle from Bier Tempel, BB 04/2012)
Hazy orange-yellow color, small steady white head. Fruity peach, but also papery aroma. Foamy-carbonaton, medium-bodied. Flavor is similar to aroma: dry papery background with some lime and peach with short finish. Very simple tripel. As Jorys said: an attempt to copy Deus!
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 sayravai (4655) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 27, 2010
(Bottled, 0.75l) Slightly hazy greenish-yellow with a medium, bubbly and lacy head. Pilsener-malty nose with some wheaty sourness present, but no hops to speak of. Flavor is also pale-malty, neutral and wheaty with a slightly sour edge, citrus, and low bitterness. Hides the ABV well, very easy to drink. Almost medium body, slightly foamy CO2. I guess this goes down well with food (or as an ingredient), as the bitterness is very low. As such, it’s nothing to tell your kids about. Luckily this steers clear of the grainy acidity, typical of other De Koninck brews. 4254

Nice big fluffy head, loads of carbonation and a modest yellow colour.Aroma of tin and carbon. Tastes like burning plastic, a sour, rotten taste. Very bitter in a bad way. Dry finish.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 altonbrownd (4209) - Brussels, BELGIUM - NOV 6, 2010
Bottle from Delhaize. Golden body with large head. Nose of hops and fruits. Quite sweet, floral taste. Bitter in the middle and finish.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 KyotoLefty (4727) - Kyoto, JAPAN - OCT 2, 2010
Cloudy, deep gold. Spicy, golden malt aroma, yeasty. Spicy, fruity flavor very yeasty and nicely dry. Hops evident. Like a drier, yeastier version of a usual boring blonde. Ok but not so exciting.
