JCB (3106) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUL 31, 2011
750ml bottle from State Line. Dusty rust colored pour, with some bright reds struggling to peek out. Minimal carbonation, spotty lacing. The nose is faded malts and slightly tart apples. Mouthfeel is medium, and the slight acetic taste is brought out a bit in the mildly tart finish. Flavors combine these elements, with moderate brune flavors complemented by the sweet bready malts that earn this beer its style designation.
