3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A very powerful taste and aroma that is based on chocolate and roasted barley. Not particularly bitter, but neither as sweet as some spicy beers tend to be.

caramelly, toasty and malty aroma, very faint bitter hoppy note too. faint dried fruits , faint banana. Flavor is dried fruits, banana, bitter malts, malts, faint but well placed flowery hoppy balance.bordering on too sweet, but the bitterness, the flowers, the hops match the sweetness very well.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
750 corked & caged bottle from Sonoma Wine Exchange. BB 06.09.08 Aromas of medium dark plum and caramel. Brilliant garnet copper color with tiny bubbles and a beige head. Almost medium body with slightly fizzy carbonation. Flavor is much like an amber - lightly sweet, lightly roasted caramel. Not a great deal of bitter, but arguably enough. The bitter tends to accumulate so the brew tastes better with time. Something of a light, clean and refreshing winter ale.

Nice citrus aroma, excellent creamy head and amber colour. Long flavour finish. This beer was 5 moints over due, but that might be a good thing.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
The color is reddish golden with a nice head and an alluring aroma. The flavour has an initial round sweetness and then comes fruits and spice along. It’s nicely balanced by bitterness and a hint of citrus in the end of the long finish. A nice, full-bodied winter beer, that I like all year round...

Poured hazy brown color with an average frothy off-white head that was lasting and produced fair lacing. Moderate nutty malt and yeast aroma. Medium body with flat carbonation. Moderate spicy sweet&sour flavor with medium sweet & sour finish of moderate duration.

Cafe De Nieuwe Roos Ootmarsum, tap. Served way too cold to determine the aroma. Nice caramel flavor. Hoppy and the typical Koninck yeastiness. Sweetish and a bit thin, but a fine session beer.
