Appearance: Ruby red amber with white creamy top , decent lace was noted 3+ .
Nose : Aromatic , high alcohol , vinous , softer sweet malts , touch of phenols 7-
Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied , slightly on thin side. Mineral, metallic feel, beyond that good grainy malts all covered in vinous alcohol. Earthy finish.

Jun 22, 2008 A very nice Belgian with nothing extraordinary going for it. Ruby brown, very small head, wonderful lacing. Sweet winter fruits, dates and figs, dark malt, a touch of winter spice, and a bitter finish.

Jun 4, 2008 POurs a dark mahogany color with nice reddish highlights. Fairly large puffy head that shrinks with time. Nose is very malty and sweet but also bread like and spicy. Taste is mild with some spice and malt, nice clean finish and highly quaffable but at the expense of a think mouthfeel and uncomplex taste.

May 24, 2008 Pours a clear copper body with a small beige head. Aroma is candy sugar sweet, malty and some raisin. Flavor is candy sugar sweet, some raisin, herbal hops and a bit of cinnamon. Finishes somewhat long and dry. Medium body, somewhat thin texture.
