A bit of a medical aroma, almost reminds me of Orval. A bit of burnt malt. Not much head, dark brown and red colour, clear but really good looking. Flavour is pretty low key and almost fleeting. A bit of burnt toffee and malts linger on the tounge. Not bad, but too mich like medicine.

Bottle: A very small (off) white foamy head on top of a clear (lighter) brown colored beer. Smell mostly malts wth a hint of spices, bitter and something fruity. Taste is a mix of malts, spices, some hints of fruit, yeast, bitter and hops.

Pours a cloudy light brown with a small head. Aroma reminds me a lot of Corsendonk’s Brown Ale. Flowery, dark raisins, a little caramel and yeast. Overall flavour is mostly like aroma. As this warmed I felt like I was drinking sugar water. There was practically nothing there in the end.

Pours a dark cloudy honey, little head, generous lacing. Taste is of yeasty caramel accented by light spices. Not complex, but at 5% abv, a pretty decent quaff.

On tap at ’t Brugs Beertje (2,50 euro). Dark amber with a thin white head. A bit malty, clean crisp pallet. Solid but nothing mind blowing.

pours golden yellow. extremely fizzy. tastes of hay and dishwater; one of the most boring Belgians I have ever had. not worth the time or money.

330ml bottle. Brown tea stain colour with a light foam head that quickly dissolves to small bubbles drifting across the surface. Mild spiced fruit notes come through but you have to work to get them. Peppery apple flavour is alittle unusual but not unpleasant. Light and dry in the mouth.

Tap. Poured a dark amber with a thin head. Nose was a bit yeasty and a bit sour. Flavor followed the nose. Light Belgian pale ale with a hint of sour. Pretty simple and bland.
