Snojerk321 (1917), San Diego, California, USA Dec 4, 2007 Bottle. Poured a rusty amber with a white head. Diminished almost completely. Nose of cotton candy....seriously. Also malt and spice. Flavor was strange as well. Picked up hints of oak, cedarand metal. Worth trying. asedzie (453), San Francisco, California, USA Nov 24, 2007 Bottle. Pours deep copper with slight head. Aroma is apricots and apples. Flavor is caramel maltiness, non-descript ale flavors, a bit of earthiness. Lightly bitter with fruity/berry tasting hops. Full mouthfeel. Simple, but good. TrefwoordPunk (549), Leiden, Netherlands Nov 19, 2007 Bottle 33 cl Pours a brownish red with a small white head. Taste has banana, caramel and brown sugar with a hoppy but sweet aftertaste dkazuk (247), winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Nov 10, 2007 330ml bottle.
Pours copper with red-orange highlights with small to no head. Aroma is of fruit and spice with some graham cracker too. Light and refreshing. Tastes acidic with prunes, banana and other fruityness. Finishes similar with some bitterness. Not bad. Dedollewaitor (3625), Odense, Denmark Nov 9, 2007 Clear amber with a off white head. Light sweet with buiscuit & caramel notes. Spritzy mouthfeel & medium (close to watery) filling body. Very mild overall and not much character! craftbeerdesign (731), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA Nov 6, 2007 Updated: Apr 24, 2008on tap at the Brick Store Pub on 11/4/07. Belgian’s session beer as the menu declared. This is true... at only 5% it is truly a very drinkable Belgian. Not too much going on with this one - a basic drinkable golden ale.... JoeinUccle (902), Brussels, Belgium Nov 5, 2007 Based on multiple bollekes during various visits to Antwerp. Easy-drinking amber with light bitterness and a touch of biscuity sweetness. Aromatics include mild, aged hops and light malts. Quaffable, yet surprising character for a beer that can be found in every bar in town. What to drink, besides genever, while you wait for Kulminator to open. JCB (1716), Durham, North Carolina, USA Oct 25, 2007 On tap at Milltown, Carrboro. Decent looking brew that has a mildly funky aroma and minimal head. Thin palate, lightly sour, but not much character here.
