3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330ml bottle, clear dark amber colour, medium frothy off-white head, fair lacing. Moderately malty aroma of caramel, grain and nuts with moderate floral and spicy hops with a bit of lemon and some fruity yeast esters. Taste is initially quite balanced and not as sweet as the smell would suggest, turning into a lightly bitter longish somewhat roasty finish with a hint of sourness. Medium body, slick mouthfeel, lively carbonation. A fairly intersting and pleasant combination, though the nuances were not very strong and some barely detectable. Anyways a bit different from many of the belgian ales and quite pleasant

0.33 l bottle form Alko. Orange-brown colour with a decent head. Malts for the nose and for the mouth too. A bit sweet but in a complicated way. Not just the sweetness of alcohol, but something else as in wine. Well, I tried to say that this is not a great beer or ale but it was better than I expected.

Appearance: Deep dark reddish with a white head of 1,5 finger.
Aroma: malts, brown suga,caramel,sweet bread
Taste:A bit thin watery with caramel, bread crust, grains..mild bitterness.
Thin body, slightly below average carbonation, light creamy texture.
If you don’t want anything special and don’t want a pilsner then there is something as this. No bold tastes, No Complexity, but it does have it’s own face.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Aroma closer to a pilsner than a regular ale. Tasteless and flat. Almost no carbonation. Not worth drinking.

Draft at Oud Arsenaal in Antwerp. Nice-looking beer with a deep amber hue and a big, pillowy head. Lightish body; creamy soft and gently carbonated. Toast and bread crust right out of the gates. Mild bitterness. Subtle, peppery bitterness. Odd metallic- and iron-like flavor. OK amber ale, though not overly exciting.
