Brewery tap, Antwerp. What I drank in Belgium on those few occasions when there wasn’t something new to try. I have a great fondness for this beer. Pours clear golden with minimal head. Malt aroma. Fairly light bodied, nice feel in the mouth. Flavour subtle and complex, fairly sweet.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 J_man (363) - Tustin, California, USA - SEP 7, 2011
Malty aroma with some slight sourness. Nice deep copper color with a wispy white head. Flavor is very subdued and subtle. Good earthy malt flavors with a light sweetness and just a touch of sourness. Hops are there but mainly just to balance the malt. Leaves a little sweetness and mild funk behind. Nice session beer.

Tap, pretty average stuff. Tastes like what you might expect from a macro. it was pretty drinkable and not much flavour. Lighty yeasty flavour and a light spice as well
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 DomCharbonneau (22) - , Quebec, CANADA - SEP 6, 2011
Malted aroma with fruity esters, a bit cheesy and grassy. Deep golden orange color with little white persisten head. Highly spicy phenols flavor with hop cheesy notes, light carboard flavor.
This makes a high phenolic and oxydized beer, which ruins the malted side of the beer.
