A very decent beer with a caramel / malt taste. Not in the league of a Chimay but a very drinkable Belgian.

Deep amber, medium white head. Nice balance of sweet and sour notes but nothing too spectacular.

Mycket tunnt. Annars typiskt belgisk i jästighet och kryddning.

On tap at Blue Monk in Buffalo, NY (at least I think this was it). Wasn’t bad, although nothing terribly memorable about it. Poured amber, very drinkable with a little bit of spice to it. I was expecting something a little more saison-y - I guess I was a bit mistaken on what the style was going to be.

Poured amber with white head. Aromas of caramel and some citrus. Tastes slightly sour bitterness and some fruitiness. Medium body and carbonation. A rather enjoyable brew.

Copper colour with little head and no cloudiness. Aroma is of toffee and spices with a slight earthiness. Light body, not a lot of character but quite a tasty casual drinking brew. Taste is bitter sweet, toffee with a hint of apple and banana.

Bottle. Clear amber/brown with small white head. Flavour is malt, caramel, fruit, hops and bitter.

330ml bottle. Clear copper colour. Malty, with a slight bitter aftertaste.
