Reddish copper in color with little head. Definitely smells like a typical Belgian. Slightly sour with clove, ginger notes. Taste is a bit surpising. Very malty with spice and hint of vanilla. It’s alright. Cheers!

This is pretty nice I guess. Not real heavy but doesn’t taste thin, a little caramel flavoring. Not complex or spicy but decent enough.

330 mL bottle from LCBO. App.: light reddish amber with a fluffy, off-white head. Aroma: yeast, spice (clove, allspice), fruit (cherries and apples), and flowers. Palate: med. body and med.-full carbonation, slightly sharp. Flav.: malty, a bit fruity (grapes and cherries), a hint of sweetness. A bit of the spice and flowers come through too. The flavour didn’t live up to the nose.

I love ales, belgian, british, all of them. This one is no exception altho it’s quite a big name. It’s got character, yet it’s easy to drink. It’s nicely dry, but not too bitter.

330 ml. bottle – color of amber , clear – small white head - nose of honey , jasmine , yeast , cherries , and yellow apples – taste of sweet fruit , floral , slight acidic grape taste , and malts , light – watery body , low carbonation – aftertaste low acidic grapes with some caramel

Tap as well as bottle. Very nice sweet ale. You can taste a lot of different spices. Small head, beautiful color! The first taste may be a little weird but if you dive deeper into the glass, a world will open for you!

Drank in a trappist glass. Nice caramlised poor... Aromas of plums, honey, grapes and somewhat white wine. Dry feel in the mouth, somewhat deceiving to the nose (smelt a little creamier). Aromas are hard to find in the flavors. Farely high biitterness. There’s a caramel aftertaste. Unequal to the palate compared to other belgians of its kind.

strange but good at first plummet...it tastes belgium proud...on tap it was killer compared to the bottle..grape yeast smell...fruiter and smoother than bottle. not a bad brew. had in bottle from vomar and on tap in CPT at the forum and in a 400yr old bar in amsterdam with some croqetts..stoempy de kat.
