Tap @ Bier Central, Antwerp. Medium brown colour with good foamy head. Mild caramel malt aroma. Sour vegetable caramel flavour. Quite smooth but sour aftertaste.

draft: very dominant spices especially in the aftertaste coupled with caramel & malt, body is kind of thin, it is not a bad session beer which is what it is mostly for

light amber, clear w/ steady bubbles smells like a slightly higher abv amber ale. kind of meaty, slightly yeasty, more raisiny malt than anything med/thin body and more than moderately fizzy tastes like an average amber ale. kind of nutty and a little coppery. it does have a redeeming alcohol presence, which is odd considering it is only 5%

I’m from around Antwerp and apparently to some that means I have to like this beer... if I ever become mayor of Antwerp, I’ll pretend that’s true.

Clear amber to copper red beer, white small but creamy head, adhesive and somewhat stable. Aroma: caramel, some dried fruits. MF: soft carbon, light body, bit watery texture. Taste: bit of caramel, spices, hop bitter. Aftertaste: some hops, citrus notes.

Bottle at Cafe Ernesto in Leuven. Reddish dark amber body. Fruity sweet malty nose, maybe chalky. Emptyish sweetish light fruity taste, chalky in the finish. Not special but ok, especially when it’s cheaper than the others and the others are crap pale lagers.

A smooth, easy to drink amber. It is subtle on all fronts, but also elegant and delicious.

16-feb-2011, draught at restaurant. Nice amber beer with good head. Aroma is malty and taste is caramel with some fruit and a nice bittersweet finish.
