Bottle. Caramel and cherry nose, a bit of earth. pretty enough amber orange color, low head. Sweet caramel and fruit flavor, low hops. Drinkable but unexciting. Much better fresher on tap, but still needs more hops.

Clear copper body with lots of chunks and a small off-white head. Sweet fruity aroma with some honey and floral hops. Sweet honey, caramel, fruitiness and some light floral hops. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

This is pretty nice I guess. Not real heavy but doesn’t taste thin, a little caramel flavoring. Not complex or spicy but decent enough.

The aroma is like biscuits, pears, raisins, yeast (basement like), and caramel. The appearance is amber/gold with huge chunks of yeast floating about and a small head. The flavor is only lightly bitter with all the elements from the aroma but not as much sweetness as it should have. The palate is thin. Overall it’s pretty good but the massive amount of floating yeast, the weak aroma, and thin palate hurt it a lot.

Pours amber. Nose and taste is very smooth and full. Lots of spices, caramels and butterscotch. Rated 8/17/2000

On tap at Raleigh WBF. Pours a clear amber with a small, white head. Aroma of sweet malt, slight yeast, white sugar, light candied fruits, bubblegum. Taste is almost like a darker witbier with a powerful presence of yeast and spices along with a addition of floral hops and sweet malt. Slight metallic finish. Watery body, fizzy on the palate. Not bad.

Bottle with Trine on Utrechtsestraat. Quality. One of my favorite beers. Very smooth and rich tasting. Fruity aroma with caramel taste. Divine for such a widely-available brew.

beerbuzzmontreal (3412) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 30, 2007
Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. Aroma of honey and fruits. The flavor is boring, there’s a mix of fruits and sweetness but it feels bland. The body is light with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. Boring and ordinary.
