330 ml bottle. Reddish golden body with a thin off-white head. Aroma is malty and fruity. Flavor is refreshing, fruity, sweet and moderate balanced bitter. Classic straight forward good Belgian ale.

On tap at Milltown, Carrboro. Decent looking brew that has a mildly funky aroma and minimal head. Thin palate, lightly sour, but not much character here.

Pours a light amber color, small white head. Malty, grain, sweet floral flavor, light fruit, slighty metallic. Pretty boring.

Dark amber colour with very little head, can't seem too get much aroma from this, didn't like the malt (thought it was sweaty and rhubarb)in this at first but then I got used to it.

beerbill (2848) - Laurel, New York, USA - MAY 17, 2008
11 2 oz. bottle. Pours a clear copper with a thin linen white head that disappeared after the first sip and left no lace. The aroma was sweet with overtones of overripe fruit. Some caramel in the aroma as well. The flavor was caramel up front with some more overripe fruit sweetness. The sweetness then disappears, and the finish is dry and slightly acrid. Thin on the palate at the finish as well. A disappointing offering.

Pours a quasi-murky amber with a ton of carbonation and a fizzy light tan head. The nose is sweet, a tad earthy, some metallic rustyness, corn, . The flavor is slightly sweet, cornish, some earthy character, grassy leafy hop character. For as carbonated as it looks in the glass there isn’t much in the mouthfeel. Pretty underwhelming.

On tap at the De Koninck brewery pub. Pours copper with a thin white head. Medium body with a fruity malt base and light hoppy finish. Some herbal spice shows in the finish, not overly estery, but mild and subtle. Malts taste like carmelized apples. Carbonation was lighter on this one so didn’t seem as lively.
