Served as a hazy, deep-copper under a thin white film and thick white ring. Light apple in aroma with licorice, cherry, pink bubblegum, white wine and light funk. Flavor is multi-layered with fruits and caramel, ending with dry bitters. Smooth yet dry. Left a very vinous impression. Complex and delicious.

Bottle. nice pour light amber with a decent bubbly head. aroma is slightly raisinish. taste is like a liquid oatmeal with a nutty tint. this is a very raw somewaht earthy taste. this norders on bland. the finish is more enjoyable than anyother part. i doubt i’ll drink this again.

On tap at the ALex P Keaton, in London, Ontario. Mahogony body, thick mocha head remionding me of whipped cream. Aromas are faint, but pleasant. Lots of malt, some bready wafts, molasses, and some off caramel. FLavours struck me as odd for a belgian ale. BItters, and prunes, with some yeasty flavours. The bitterness threw me off, as I wasn’t expecting it in a belgian. Bitter finish, smooth mouthfeel. REminds me more of an ESB than a BA. Good.

Tap at YNWA, Kolding, shared with Roger. Amber color, moderate but fine off-white head. Aroma is fruity. Flavor is fruity, sweet malty with hints of sourness and a bit hops. Nice.

dark amber beer, medium/light head what dissapeares quickly. The nose is yeastly. In the taste are some sour flavour with a little roasted maltand yeast. Simple, drinkable beer.

Pours a cloudy light brown with a small head. Aroma reminds me a lot of Corsendonk’s Brown Ale. Flowery, dark raisins, a little caramel and yeast. Overall flavor is mostly like aroma. As this warmed I felt like I was drinking sugar water. There was practically nothing there in the end. Needs some more bite or complexity to keep me interested. $8 for 4 = never again.

Beautiful head and golden amber in color. Aroma consists of wild rice, caramel, brown sugar and cinnamon oatmeal. Light and thin on the palate. Almost tastes like a summer kolsch. Lemon crispness and a little astringent. Yeasty, leaven-bread. Somewhat muted. Finish is grassy and grainy with a straw aftertaste.

330 mL bottle from LCBO. App.: light reddish amber with a fluffy, off-white head. Aroma: yeast, spice (clove, allspice), fruit (cherries and apples), and flowers. Palate: med. body and med.-full carbonation, slightly sharp. Flav.: malty, a bit fruity (grapes and cherries), a hint of sweetness. A bit of the spice and flowers come through too. The flavour didn’t live up to the nose.
