Pours a cloudy brownish amber in color with a rocky inch-thick off-white head that lasts. Aroma of yeasty bread, fruit (raisins) caramel. Sweet, slightly earthy malt flavor with an interesting dry finish. I don’t know why, but I’m reminded of Boston Baked Beans candy for some reason. Sweet, yet ... not. Oh, well. Very enjoyable at any rate.

(Tap) Pours amber with virtually no head and medium carbonation. Bready and dry, with some toffee notes as well. A pretty good beer overall.

Aroma is of malt, oranges, and some light floral scents. Deep golden brown with particles in suspension all over the place. Medium to light palate. Some light yeast and weak malts in the flavor with a hint of bitterness in the finish.

On tap at Pub Italia. Hazy pale amber with a thin layer of off-white foam. Fruity, yeasty, light caramel aroma. Fruity and yeasty flavours with a dry bitter finish. Medium bodied, a bit flat and lifeless.

Wow. Had on tap in its proper glass. Wonderful smokey cinnamon appearance with a head that looked like it had been dusted with cocoa. Great spicey flavor with a dry finish. Excellent.

Dark amber, caramel head, dark robust flavour. Good balance of malt and hops, mute creamy palate. Slightly fruity. Has tht stewed pear and apple flavour that the triple has but more subtle.

bottle from metzlers in denton tx. this poured an amberish color with a white-off white head. this beer was just a complete mess and only my 2nd drain pour ever. malty and fruity for aroma and flavor. did not like this one. i am being very generous on the score IMO. wish i hadnt of bought a 4 pack. i should of stuck with my original plan.

Slightly better than Palm. An easy beer.
