Amberish color with no head. Mild hop aroma. Bitter malts in the flavor that is water dominated. Unimpressive.

ClubGonzo (1732) - Bergen, NORWAY - AUG 21, 2010
Bottle @ Holland Casino, Amsterdam. Pours a nut-brown, slightly reddish body with a virtually non-existent white head. Smell is very vague, with toffee malts and molasses. Taste is ale yeast, hazelnuts and medium roasted malts. Well rounded but pretty bland all in all, and a typical example of the default "Speciale Belge" by any standards.

Copper colour with an off-white head, aroma of sweet malts, fruit, and some spices. Slightly sweet but otherwise pretty simple.

330ml bottle. Pours an orange- amber colour with a thick beige head that dies away to thin lacing. Big caramel aroma and flavour with some biscuity malt. Flavour also of grassy hops, bready yeast and barley. A little thin with a light dry linger.

Pours a clear deep golden. Fruity, yeasty, light caramel aroma. Taste is caramel malts, yeast spices, pretty simple and drinkable beer overall.

Right off the top, I assumed that De wouldve been the choice of drunkards and chuggers. Dead on. Too bad that they are wasting a chug on such a good beer. nice amberish colour and beautifully thick head filled up my glass. Mild hops and malts and a unassuming flowery scent. Seemed flat, but wasnt(???) 5 minuites tops and I need another - Damn easy to drink!
