Dark pale, smal lasting head, good traditional, low alc. but charactar., nice one

Very sweet malty nose, amber body, minimal head. Spicy bitterness, some sweetness in the middle (peach?), not much of a finish. Rather unenticing commercial description as well.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2007 Not good. Pours clear amber with floaties and a quickly-dissipating head. Aroma of stale malt. The taste is acidic; some malt with yeast, but mixed together to form the dreaded sweaty gym sock. Avoid.

light amber, clear w/ steady bubbles smells like a slightly higher abv amber ale. kind of meaty, slightly yeasty, more raisiny malt than anything med/thin body and more than moderately fizzy tastes like an average amber ale. kind of nutty and a little coppery. it does have a redeeming alcohol presence, which is odd considering it is only 5%

Bottle. Pour was medium golden with a frothy white head. Aroma was of light hops, bread, malt, and some light fruity esters. Flavor was mostly one dimensional with again, light fruity esters, light hop bitterness and flavor, and a light, mostly dry malt body. Decent brew, but nothing special.

Appearance: Basically no head. Aroma: Malty, hint of hops. Burnt. Taste: Pretty malty, fruity, bitter aftertaste. Fresh. Info: 330ml bottle, 3/2-2006, 67/300, 42/500

Bolleke-draught in the Cellar, St. Andrews. Dark amber colour and medium head. Aroma of spices, hops and fruits. Fantastic. Complex palate: yeast, coriander, hops, nuts, plums and lot more. Unforgettable experience.

Peachy orange w/ brown hues. Small, soapy, whitehead. Smells of rich malt, raisins and cherries. Sweet malt taste with wheat, cherries, dates, figs, alcohol. Medicinal aftertaste leaves bad impression. you could do a lot better.
