Draft in NYC. Hazy golden brown, creamy white head. Sour malting, tart lagery finish. Light and refreshing. Not crazy or special.

33 cl bottle. I don’t think I have drinked any belgian ale under 6% abv, so my expectations were not too high. As expected this is quite thin, but at the same time the light sour taste was very pleasant and it felt very refreshing. I can imagine to drink this a warm summer day.

Brewery tap, Antwerp. What I drank in Belgium on those few occasions when there wasn’t something new to try. I have a great fondness for this beer. Pours clear golden with minimal head. Malt aroma. Fairly light bodied, nice feel in the mouth. Flavour subtle and complex, fairly sweet.

Nice, not too heavy but beautifully rounded. Nice and foamy with a good taste. One of the better %5 beers

On tap at Blue Monk in Buffalo, NY (at least I think this was it). Wasn’t bad, although nothing terribly memorable about it. Poured amber, very drinkable with a little bit of spice to it. I was expecting something a little more saison-y - I guess I was a bit mistaken on what the style was going to be.
