Sampled draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Amber colour, clear, small creamy head. Flowert caramel aroma. Sweet and mild with light fruitiness and yeastiness. There's some toffee and a light hoppiness that leads to an intensely flowery finish with medium bitterness. Uncomplicated, but enjoyable easy drinking Belgian ale.

On tap.
Aroma of caramel, butterscotch and malt, copper, with a small tan head. Flavour is malt, with melted brown sugar, woody notes as well. Well balanced, pleasantly sweet, good bitterness toward the finish. Very nice!
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Sigmund (3495) - Hafrsfjord, NORWAY - MAR 13, 2007
330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 5.0%. Brown colour, low head. Moderate but pleasant fruity aroma, hints of spices. The flavour is spicy with moderate malts, not very sweet, pleasant to drink. Relatively high carbonation in the glass. This is not an "extreme" Belgian ale in any way, and no "challenge" for the beer enthusiast, but probably an ale that most people will like.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 estoppel (1028) - Buffalo, New York, USA - AUG 6, 2002
Very sweet malty nose, amber body, minimal head. Spicy bitterness, some sweetness in the middle (peach?), not much of a finish. Rather unenticing commercial description as well.

Bottle. Pours amber with a small white head. Lots of particles suspended in this. Nose is fruity and sweet with light honey and flowery notes. Taste seems a bit more bitter than the aroma would let on. Light hoppiness, dried fruits, thinned honey and light floral notes. Body is light-medium with moderate carbonation feel. Light bitterness throughout. Finishes with more fruit and floral notes, hints of caramel, honey and light hops. Not bad.
