3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 lgklotet (432) - Singapore, SINGAPORE - JUL 30, 2006
Perhaps my expectations were a bit high upon sampling this on tap in Antwerpen. Sure enough, it’s good. It’s got a malty, bready and perhaps toasty aroma. Palate is medium. Fairly complex flavour (nori?) and some herbal hops as well. Overall, a very good brew that I think I’ll have to try again soon.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 TEJA (707) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 10, 2008
Short white foam. Clear transparent light amber colour. Nice belgian nose with some malt carracter. Sweet malty taste with light body. A belgan ale made for drinking larger amounts than doubles and trippels and more tasty and not as thirst quenching as a wit but deffenetly woth drinking.

Bottle. Pours clear golden color; white head disappears quickly. Smells rather like Grolsch. Nice wheat aftertaste. Not really what I expected though.

Draught in various bars around Antwerp. Red-orange glow with a thin fine head. Yeasty, sweet bready aroma with variable amounts of peardrop and praline (Westy?!). Cinnamon-dusted spice, honey on bread, peardrop frutiness, nice creamy bread linger. Bolied sweets, hint of dry yeasty bite. Peardrop esters highly pronounced in some samples, non-existent in others. Soft and slick like English bitter, but (discreetly) fruitier, with an obvious Belgian yeast influence. Huge improvement on the bottled version, no doubt. Sweet easy sessions.

Clear amber, with a white head.
Aroma malts, some caramel; bit sweet. Medium body.
Taste is like an very regular amberale: some sweet start, cramale malts, little hops.

Nice light amber hue with a decent whiye tan head. Smells of fruit and yeast. Lightly carbonated with flight flavors of malt , fruit and a little hops. Smooth after taste. Pleasant brew without alot of distinct personality.
