Pours a cloudy light brown with a small head. Aroma reminds me a lot of Corsendonk’s Brown Ale. Flowery, dark raisins, a little caramel and yeast. Overall flavor is mostly like aroma. As this warmed I felt like I was drinking sugar water. There was practically nothing there in the end. Needs some more bite or complexity to keep me interested. $8 for 4 = never again.

Amber with a small off white head. Sweet, yeasty aroma. Sweet rather fruity taste, a bit thin, but pleasantly dry. Raspberry perhaps? An excellent accompaniment to a typical English cricket picnic of smoked salmon, strawberries and cream, sultry heat and evening thunderstorms.

Tap at Grand Cafe, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (Schengen). Chestnut, thin white head. Lively malty, refreshing and cool. Mouth is slightly brackish biscuit, malt, some fruitiness. Refreshing with a lasting maltiness in the finish. Quite good.

Golden amber, aromas of bready sweetness, something faintly floral. Smooth malty palate, a little perfumy, a little bitter. Very drinkable.

Bottle pours a beautiful amber colour with a small disappearing head. The aroma is sweet, almost fruity and somewhat spicy with a hint of alcohol despite it only being 5%. Very well balanced almost crisp like a pils. Puts me in mind of something like orval meets something like rickards red with a hint of something all its own. Unique brew though not amazing.

Pours clear deep gold with off white head. The aroma is grains, malts and mild vague fruitiness, sort of estery. The taste is smooth with a thin mouth feel. I get graininess, malts, some mild yeast, a touch of apple and other vague fruity notes.

(Tap) Pours amber with virtually no head and medium carbonation. Bready and dry, with some toffee notes as well. A pretty good beer overall.
