3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Marko (2977) - Split, CROATIA - FEB 25, 2011
Bottle at Cafe Ernesto in Leuven. Reddish dark amber body. Fruity sweet malty nose, maybe chalky. Emptyish sweetish light fruity taste, chalky in the finish. Not special but ok, especially when it’s cheaper than the others and the others are crap pale lagers.

Poured like a semi carbonated Maudite. Not a very defined taste, but pretty good and smooth. Dark fruits with a malty fix. Couldn’t really point out any distinctive fruits like plum or raisin or even banana.....The reviews below are really true. Fairly good, but nothing distinctive.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 asheft (2030) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 13, 2009
[bottle--says "amber" on it]
Flowers and greenhouse aroma, though weak. Clear, ruddy-gold with a thick, white ring. Very clean flavour, but weak: grainy and floral with a low bitterness. Good, even though it is a bit thin on the palate. Light body, moderate carbonation, clean finish.

[draught at lloyds in glasgow] like gold colour with a moderate creamy head which lasts reasonably wel. nose is flowery hops with some good malty notes underneath, caramel and there is some yeast in there as well. body is reasonable with a little hoppy bitterness and a very little sourness, im not sure if that is because its the end of the barrel but it lowered the beer a point for me.

12oz bottle, a steal at $1.49 at west lakeview in chicago. pours clear auburn with small white head. nose is cherry pits, raisins, toffee, toasted biscuit, and grains. flavor is sorta muted, raw wet grains, dull biscuit, hints of cherry pits, rubarb. palate is just too dry and earthy. still a nice session belgian ale, but nothing special. mouth feel is too watery.

Very mild caramel and grass nose. Some grainy notes with a touch of malt. Good head retention with a nice release of gases. Mildly herbal. Soft mouthfeel and a clean finish. A session belgian.
