Good tawny colour, off white head is tight & compact, lasts well. Nose is dominated by malt, but the palate is much lighter than expected, still nice tho’.The finish is slightly sweet, with a hop/fruit character. 79p Asda.

Tap at Afspanning, Antwerp, march 07. Verey faint aroma with some yeasty traces and a very slight nuts touch. Toasty flavor with some burnt bitterness and a short nutty ending, like a restrained altbier. MF is medium to light, a bit watery. Beatifull light copper color with a big, creamy, beige head. Nice, but rather flat amber ale.

Wasnt sure what to expect here. Aroma is malty, just raw maltyness. Taste is nutty like a brown ale almost but seriously malty, i wonder if there is any hops in this fellow, but towards the end u start to feel the minimal hops, not that im looking for them. Seems to me that im drinkin a bock here with ale written on it?

11.2oz bottle–pours a rich foamy off white head and amber color. Aroma is medium malt-slight peat, yeast-clove/spice, fruit. Taste is spice hops (saaz) overrides the medium malt-slight peat/slight caramel and yeast, then finishes thin. Easy drinking. OK carbonation.

A: Amber with an off-white head; no retention, hints of lace. S: Earthy with a slightly citrus hop aroma; Biscuit & caramel malt. T: Caramel & bready/biscuity malt, citrus rind/zest from the hops; earthy bitterness in the finish. M: Solid moderate body; moderate carbonation. D: Quite drinkable.

BA BBF 06. amber in color. Aroma is slightly spicy, and malty. Taste is caramel malts, yeast spices, pretty simple and drinkable beer overall.

On tap @ S.D. Brewing Company. Came served in a De Koninck glass. Awesome glass, lame beer. Light, watery and devoid of anything resembling a good belgian beer. Tasted like Bass.
