Small white head, a little lacing. Dark amber body. Malty nose, a little caramel, bread. Flavour is all malt, bready yeast, touch of caramel on the finish. Medium carbonation, bit of fizz on the tongue. Nothing to write home about.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml. In a Chimay goblet . A good ass beer , motherfucker . The Belgians might be weak and liberal with Jihadism , and the center of oppression as the EU HQ horror house , but these losers can sure brew beer that captivates people like me . I don’t known exactly what it , just a sprinkle of charisma in the yeast strain , mixed with shitloads of bready malts , spice , and yes , i’d fuck this beer .

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Kingston Arms, Cambridge. Reddish amber with a big off-white head. An enticing little aroma of caramel malt and red berries. Sweet and flat malty taste, with a short finish. Nicely carbonated. It’s far from complex but I like it, and it’s just what I was in the mood for tonight.
