2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from Rodmanís. Pours a light to medium brown with a thin white head that dissipates quickly and leaves no lacing. Malty aroma with some dried fruit and faint grapefruit hoppiness. Very thin mouthfeel, watery up front and a malty finish. Average. My drinking buddy said, "Iím surprised a Belgian brewery gets away with putting this out there." Not enough hops to be really called a pale ale, and not enough flavor to be really called good.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Oud Arsenaal in Antwerp. Nice-looking beer with a deep amber hue and a big, pillowy head. Lightish body; creamy soft and gently carbonated. Toast and bread crust right out of the gates. Mild bitterness. Subtle, peppery bitterness. Odd metallic- and iron-like flavor. OK amber ale, though not overly exciting.

My favorite brown beer, pretends to be nothing, drinks smooth and is very easy. It is not complicated nor super, i just drink it all the time i want a light beer and no need for a strong one.
