3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 crossovert (4565) - Wisconsin, USA - APR 12, 2013
Hazy pour, smell has some grapefruit, citrusy, zesty, some gassy hops, sweetness, yeast spice. Flavor has a nice up front bitterness, very herbal, some interesting yeast phenols. Weird water characteristic. It is good easy drinker but some weird off flavors exist. Very sharp and crisp mouthfeel.

Bottle @ home picked up at the Wine and Cheese Shop STL opened for Malt Liquor Monday. Pours a hazy golden orange appearance with an off white head. Rustic, barnyard, somewhat grainy/herbal, orange zesty, fruity yeasty aroma. Sweet orange fruity, really nice fruity yeasty forward, very citrusy, sweet malty, herbal, straw, just a bit funky, lightly tart flavor. Delicious and easy drinking. Reminds me of a cool winter night in Bruges.

A touch of light pepper and some herbal/earthy flavour. A little bit of soft biscuity malt flavour throughout. Nice stuff.
