Bottle. A clear, golden beer topped by a dense, off-white head of moderate size. The aroma has some malty, fruity sweetness and a faint spiced touch. Quite straight forward, but well done. The flavor has a pleasant bitterness, grass, pine cones and fruityness, as well as some sugary hints without being sweetish. Rather dry actually, nicely carbonated and full-bodied. Mostly bitter in the end. A nice one for sure, wouldn’t mind drinking more of it. 120623

Bottle at Nuetnigenough, Bruxelles
Cloudy blond color with creamy head. The aroma is mild and it develops late, but it has a nice spicy trait. The mouthfeel is smooth; the flavor is very spicy, but possibly also a bit too yeasty; also the bitterness becomes a bit harsh with all this yeast; there is some light fruitiness, but hidden.
Pleasant, but a bit confused.

33cl bottle shared by Dutchdrebus. Hazy yellow color, average sized rough white head that lasts a decent while. Smell lightly hops, a bit grassy. Taste lightly malts, again grassy and lightly hoppy, delicate bitterness. Nicely balanced, suitable carbonation, low to medium body. Quite fresh, very nice easy drinkable beer.

Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow to golden colour with a small white head. Smells banana, weizener, yeasty. Tastes grassy, some hops and some pineapple. Quite a refreshing beer. Doesn?t taste like the way it smells. Nice carbo, medium body and a bit dry.

33cl bottle courtesy of sebletitje, cool a Brussels brewed beer, pouring up slightly hazy deep gold with copper hues and tall near white head. The aroma is on the nose-prickly side with some yeast and some yeasty spice and then picking up tart citrus notes and pineapple. The taste has a fresh bright yeasty spiciness as well as lemon to lime and toward sort of a peach note or two. It has a little tartness as well and finishes crisp and refreshing but not light on flavor. Nice stuff.

Half of a comparative tasting of both Be and Que versions, thanks to the brewers! Very hazy, very carbonated grainy/straw yellow beer, very good white head. Grains, bit bready, and a short sharp solvent nose. Dry, sharp and spiced, other grains (rye), finish has a sudden hoppy (and slighlty harsh) bitterness. Light to medium bodied, well-carbonated. Very grain/malt oriented beer.
