Bottle. Dark amber, large off-white head. Aroma citruses, mix of exotic fruits on a hoppy background. Medium full body. Taste largely follows aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey, deep golden colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly bready, malty aroma, a fruity touch of pear, mild herbal and yeasty spiciness. Taste is minimally sweet caramel and bready malty, citrusy hoppy overtones, a touch of pear, some peppery yeasty spiciness, a herbal touch. Well...

Nische (1799) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 22, 2016
Bottle from Beergium.com. Lightly hazy orange with white head. Citrus aroma with some zesty notes, together with peach and mango. Bitter taste with some grainy malt, tropical fruit and lemon zest. Balanced and tasty. Lightly bitter finish with lots of fruity flavor lingering.

Pours a cloudy blond beer with a firm white head. Smells of hops, citrus, bit of lychee, exotic fruits. Tastes bitter. Leaves a refreshing bitter and fruity palate. Great, tasty, hoppy beer!

Belgisch hefiger Antrunk mit vergleichsweise geringer Süße. Mild herb, frisch hopfig, was meistens im Hintergrund bleibt. Nuancen von Kräutern, weich bitter hefiger Nachhall. 13/10/9/9/9/10

330 ml bottle poured at home. Pours a hazy orange with very little white head. Sweet smell but I can’t place it; also has a bit of pepper on the nose. Taste is not what I expected at all. Peppery and slightly citrus to start with a bitter finish. This is quite good.

(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 14 Oct 2015) Pale amber colour, hazy, with frothy off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of apricots, orange peel and spicy hints of yeast. Malty, hoppy taste with apricots, orange peel, a touch of resin, hints of yeast and a generous citric, resiny bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Really tasty, with a generous fresh hop character. Very nice.

330 ml botle, bottled 28/07/15, from Firma Bier.
Copper, cloudy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of yeast, flowers, sweet berries, dried fruits, some spices, grass.
Tastes of grass, hay, citrus, flowers, berries, yeast, some herbs, some spices.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes dry, quite bitter, grassy, piney, a bit yeasty, a bit spicy, a bit herbal.

Very nice. Fresh and smooth, but fully aromatic and complex at the same time. Great balance between sweet, fruity, grassy and spicy notes. Really characterful, round Belgian Ale how I like it.
