Bottle. Hazy medium orange, off white head. Peachy and peppery, lightly sweet malts, nice. I think this bottle may have some age on it, but still a nice brew.

Half of a comparative tasting of both Be and Que versions, thanks to the brewers! Very hazy, very carbonated grainy/straw yellow beer, very good white head. Grains, bit bready, and a short sharp solvent nose. Dry, sharp and spiced, other grains (rye), finish has a sudden hoppy (and slighlty harsh) bitterness. Light to medium bodied, well-carbonated. Very grain/malt oriented beer.

33cl bottle.

From bottle at Brasserie de la Senne, Brussels. Lightly hazed amber with a fine white head.
Straight up American hops in the nose show a strong grapefruit and pine resin core with minor apricot and orange accents. Malt is pale and cara, lightly toasty, somewhat bready. Fine natural carbonation with soft malt, that’s the highlight. Medium body, semi-sweet, finish is appropriately bitter and a little resinous. It’s certainly well-made, but the ingredients limit the appeal. Yvan’s noble-hopped beers are some of the best in the world, he doesn’t need to be making the prototypical western resin/grapefruit IPA.

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Peppery spicy yeast, light sweetness, some flowery hoppy nites, and mild bitterness. Pretty good.
