Bottle at Nuetnigenough. Aroma is citrus and resinous hops, bit stinky. Taste is good, feels a bit heavy, but lots of yeastiness, some citrus. Bitterness at end. Nice.

Pours a cloudy pale yellow with medium sized white head that leaves some lace on the glass. Aroma is spicy Belgian yeast, grass, citrus, lemon, and faint fruit esters. Flavour is spicy yeast, peppery, moderate bitterness, citrus, zesty lemon, grassy, lightly fruity and a touch Funk on the finish.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning, labeled as Schieve Tabarnak #2, ABV 6.3%. Slightly hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of yeast, some alcohol, malts, light fruity, grassy hops, reminds me of a good tripel. Flavour is medium sweet, light floral, malty, yeasty, light fruity, some honey, firm grassy bitter finish with some alcohol bite. Medium-bodied. Good.

Fruity aroma, pine apple, tropical, biscuit malts though and interesting yeast. Well developed, light sweet, full mouth feel. Not very bitter. Smooth and drinkable, not quite the freshness I wanted in the aroma. Another high quality brew from these guys! (Sample at Nüetnigenough)

Bottle from Le Projet. Pours a hazy golden with a small white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is obviously belgian with some fruits and spices covered in sugary candi. Taste is of fruits (pears), peppery and lightly alcohol. Kind of like a low ABV tripel. Body is light, carbonation moderate. Overall a fine belgian ale, true to the TDD / De la Senne legacy.

murky gold, huge white head, heavy lacing. White pepper nose that’s rooty, lightly doughy gum sweetness alongisde heavy dusty esters. Front palate bites with papery pepper, doughy wheat with minor ester sweetness. Mid growing dryer, zesty carb. Overall too much sweetness, needs more grain balance.
