(draught) pours a murky golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of floral hops, cactus juice, grass and straw, slightly perfumed, with light notes of barnyard and banana. flavour is mostly the same, with lots of herbal hops, some oranges, lemons, talcum powder and a medium-bitter finish. light-bodied with soft carbonation.

Hazy golden with a lasting white head. The aroma is floral and fruity with a touch of spice. Dry and fruity flavour with grassy hops in the bitter aftertaste

Dark amber orange with a medium sized white head.
Nose is light malt, touch of yeast, fruits, orange, sour notes.
Taste comprises bitter orange, touch of grapefruit, lightly soured citric fruits.
Medium to light in body, fine carbonation.
Ok stuff - light and easy drinking - Belgian session beer!

On tap at moeder lambic, st gilles. Light amber color with thin head. Very light carbonation. Light malt aroma.

Pours clear golden with a large, creamy, yellowish head. Aroma has grass, chewing gum, resin, oranges and light crisp malts. Low carbonation, dry and light mouthfeel. Flavour is bitter, fairly sharp, peach, resin, grass. Still some crisp malts to balance. Very dry and bitter.

19/04/2013 Ma che siete venuti a fà (tap). Ambrata, torbida, schiuma bianca molto abbondante e persistente. Al naso sentori di lievito belga, speziato, leggeri off flavours, luppolo pungente. In bocca è belga nel carattere ma più secca e amara, finale luppolato molto persistente. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Molto buona.

On cask at Moeder Lambic. Pours a hazy honey color with a light tan head that stays aloft. Smell is honey, fruit with some earthiness. The taste is slightly bitter up front then some mild fruit. It’s a bit watery in the middle ending with dry bitterness. Mildly carbonated with light body. I had hih expectations but was a bit disappointed.

Colour: hazy yellow
Smell: pale, bit of hops, lots of typical belgian yeast
Taste: a little bit better than your average Belgian Blonde, but all in all nothing really special ..

On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. I have to admit that I picked this first, blissfully unaware at first that it was brewed especially for them. And that the brewer was some 10 meters from me, heheh. In any case, poured a clear golden-amber body. Perfumey yet slightly sulphury spicy aroma. Nice light balanced spicy/perfumey taste, sweet maltiness, slightly peppery, light sulphur? again, maybe carrot. Even though there are some slightly off notes that I didn’t like, this is really characterful for the ABV, and I’d definitely have it again.
